Could parliamentary work?
Many could argue that the system of government that we are in right now is working well. However the united states has not had any civil wars any time recently and the public mood for the most part is consistent that america is the best country in the world. the United States has been in the presidential system for so long there is no motivation between bureaucrats to transform to a parliamentary system. This comes up because of most recent election with President Trump their is a majority in the public mood that shows President Trump not being fit to be a president. With this being a reason for impeachment that is something that is unlikely to happen right now. I believe that if the U.S. would switch to a parliamentary system of government we could have better standards when it comes to political leaders. If we had been in a parliamentary system their is no doubt that Donald trump would have received the vote of no confidence and be impeached from office. this is something that happens more often than not in many parliamentary systems however in the united states presidential system two presidents have been impeached and one resigned. Bill Clinton was impeached and was brought back to the white house to for fill his second term. Impeachment is a very dark process in American politics that is often avoided. Also their are no fixed duration periods for a prime minister,
it is know that minorities in the united states are not being treated the same as white americans, the paramilitary system many other countries has shows that with one head of state and one head of government a true political leader is chosen from the cabinet and a head of government is doing the job of for filling the traditions that a president would do. more work would get done in out government. Another reasons that the parliamentary system could work well is because it forces the public to be more active in politics by electing a cabinet. Gridlock is happening right now and we are not developing like our counterparts.
