But his actions, alone, did not make the Reformation. This undergraduate study of sixteenth-century Europe goes beyond the iconic reformer as the center of the period we entitle, \u201cThe Reformation\u201d to examine more broadly the social movements, political struggles, and military conquests that shattered Christendom, clearing the way for a pluralistic society.<\/p>\n<p>University of Richmond students, enrolled in HIST 233: Reformation Europe, participated in this class project to build an on-line, critical dictionary of important ideas and events related to the Reformation.
