After reading the Introduction and first chapter of this project, I began to think about my nine year old brother, and if I could even attempt to predict his future personality, health, or behavior, based on his current self. I thought it was interesting that the book mentioned how personality from a young age could possibly determine longevity and health, as my current personality is drastically different from mine in middle school or the beginning of high school, and even more so from when I was a toddler. I also reflected upon the dedication that projects like this entail, as the researcher must dedicate their entire life to this project, and most likely will not be able to see it completed, unless the individual dies young.
