Film is unique in that it combines the visual, the aural, and the narrative into a\u2014if done well\u2014compelling narrative. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Lost City of Z <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">is, in fact, done well, and it tells the stories of Colonel Percy Fawcett, a British soldier and explorer, and his multiple adventures into Amazonia. Told from 1905 to 1925, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Lost City of Z<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> chronicles Fawcett\u2019s attempts to find an ancient, lost civilization deep in the Bolivian Amazon.
