I have always been drawn to Colombia through my father\u2019s stories\u00a0and I hope to live there one day. While I have always felt a connection with Colombia and enjoyed to travel, I did not realize my interest in service\u00a0until recently. I went abroad on a service trip for the first time in the 9th grade. Since then I have been on two service trips abroad, both to the Dominican Republic.
