How My Ancestors Came to The West
The story of how my ancestors came from Europe to the East Coast, and how they made it to the Pacific Northwest, shows my inherent connection to a number of locations across the globe. The history of my ancestors also gives me a better understanding of who I am today and how many pieces had to fall into place for my family to be where it is today. While it would have been cool to visualize the journeys of more of my ancestors, I had to narrow my focus to a select few lines in my vast family tree. Specifically, my StoryMap focuses on a few interesting ancestors of my grandfather on my dad’s side of the family.
