For example, I start my paper off with providing background information that provides my audience with a sense of what the members of Oneida believed in. Then, I advance by elaborating on a term introduced which is Eugenics. I establish grounds for my theory on how the practice led to the downfall of Oneida. I also use specific examples from diary entries to fortify the claims I am making.
