{"id":82,"date":"2016-04-17T15:50:25","date_gmt":"2016-04-17T19:50:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/fysutopiasspring2016012\/?p=82"},"modified":"2016-04-20T23:44:04","modified_gmt":"2016-04-21T03:44:04","slug":"the-development-of-idealism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/fysutopiasspring2016012\/2016\/04\/17\/the-development-of-idealism\/","title":{"rendered":"The Development of Idealism"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the biggest issues I had at the beginning of this semester was the\u00a0<em>idea\u00a0<\/em>of utopia. \u00a0Fundamentally, I, personally, don&#8217;t think it is possible, viable, or reasonable. \u00a0So as I have researched and discusses the Icarians, my stance on the idea of utopia stays the same: it is a noble ambition but impractical. \u00a0The Icarians and the research I present in my paper shows that the attempt for utopia is founded in a conscientious effort to improve society but there is no reasonable end game.
