After having delved deeper I found information on the culture of the community, but nothing seemed paritcularly unusual or unique. However, the culture side of things was always run by women and I decided to look into the female experience in Icaria. After having read more I discovered that their perception of Icaria was very different that the actual experience of Icaria for women.
