The work has been difficult, the issues surrounding us have tested our resolve, and faculty have amplified\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">their\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">support for a<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">n\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">inclusive academic environment. While we are always working to improve individually and collectively, we have heard that our students have felt\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">your support<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0and we thank you for your deep commitment to student-centered work.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">We wanted to alert you to a few upcoming faculty development opportunities:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Call for Applications: Inclusive Pedagogy Cohort<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">If you would like a deeper engagement in becoming a more inclusive teacher, please consider applying for next year\u2019s inclusive pedagogy cohort. This is a great opportunity to grow in your teaching and to build community with colleagues from across campus. This initiative is sponsored by the Office of the Provost and open to\u00a0<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">any interested full-time University employees who are faculty or who teach academic courses as part of their responsibilities.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The Inclusive Pedagogy Cohort meets every two weeks on Fridays from 12-1:15 p.m.* Each member of the cohort receives a $750 stipend for completing the program.\u00a0<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Applications for next year\u2019s cohort are due by Friday, May 21.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">For more information and details on how to apply, read the\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/richmond.box.com\/s\/vibb4pxsegk8nu8p7qu5ghg5r2tlz93f\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">call for applications for the Inclusive Pedagogy Cohort<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">*<em>Note:\u00a0<span class=\"TextRun  BCX0 SCXW182213998\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun  BCX0 SCXW182213998\">If you have a conflict with noon on Fridays, we encourage you to still apply and indicate the conflict in your application.
