{"id":978,"date":"2014-01-22T12:10:36","date_gmt":"2014-01-22T17:10:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/enielson\/?p=978"},"modified":"2014-01-22T13:10:55","modified_gmt":"2014-01-22T18:10:55","slug":"rap-lyrics-everywhere","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/enielson\/2014\/01\/22\/rap-lyrics-everywhere\/","title":{"rendered":"Rap lyrics everywhere"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When Charis Kubrin and I wrote our <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2014\/01\/14\/opinion\/rap-lyrics-on-trial.html?_r=0\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">op-ed<\/span><\/a><\/span> for the <em>New York Times<\/em> on the use of rap lyrics in trials, we knew it would get attention, but had no idea how much.
