{"id":47,"date":"2019-03-06T21:35:43","date_gmt":"2019-03-07T02:35:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/elemsocialstudies-07\/?p=47"},"modified":"2019-03-06T21:35:43","modified_gmt":"2019-03-07T02:35:43","slug":"week-8-project-based-learning-rubrics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/elemsocialstudies-07\/2019\/03\/06\/week-8-project-based-learning-rubrics\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 8-Project Based Learning\/Rubrics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Having the 2 teachers come and discuss rubrics along with their project based learning showed me just how important the rubrics are.\u00a0 I was previously thinking they were much more work than they are worth, but I now see it is a way to be fair to everyone, along with keeping the grading consistent.<\/p>\n<p>Their first-hand experience with both the PBL and rubrics were very eye-opening.\u00a0 It is extremely helpful to see the strategies we are learning\u00a0 put to use in a real-life classroom.<\/p>\n<p>I definitely plan to use PBL in my classroom, and will be sure to use a rubric in order to keep it fair for all students.\u00a0 I wonder what the difference is when you do not use a rubric?
