However, not really knowing much about their lifestyles and what they like. I will be leaving knowing significantly more, from the rest of my UR group to the INEMA students.

In this short time I have learned that….

Grainne has a daughter and son, she’s originally from Ireland, and a school principal. She also is fun and sometimes likes to start gossip of Stuttgart. LOL.

Casey- is a kindergarten teacher who is very touchy, feely when she drinks. Is an overall nice and caring person.

Jonathan-Has a tape worm in his stomach and is very knowledgeable. He works in HR.

Keaton- The youngest one of the bunch. Very caring and the life of the party. Always has to pee at the wrong time!

Anne-Blunt, straight to the point, and intelligent. She likes to drink beer.

Tiffany- Is a school teacher, is funny and caring.

Kara-Is a French teacher with two boys. Her husband is German and she is hilarious when she drinks.

Yulia- Works for Anthem. Originally from Russia and is fun spirited.

Steven- It’s all about his lighting. Works in HR, but has multiple family businesses. Has the funniest facial expressions

I have gained so much knowledge from these individuals and still have a few days left to soak it all in. Also, it has been fun to experience each of their different personalities.

Although, I didn’t get to get to know all of the INEMA students. I made pretty good connections with a few……

Asmaa teaches Arabic and has a son and a daughter. She’s originally from Egypt and has been in Germany for 10 years.

Taushree is from India and is very nice and fun spirited. She invited me to India any time.

I plan on keeping in touch with many of them as it’s good to make connections all around the world. We all are different in many ways and yet the same. In Human Resources, I will deal with all sorts of people from different aspects of life. Being able to relate to them on some common ground will be useful. A lot of the times we tend to deal with people that in a way look, sound, act, and live like we do. However, for one week we stepped out of that comfort zone and intermingled with exact opposites. How interesting was that?

I came on this trip knowing a few people from class, such as Anne, Keaton, Jonathan.
