            3) Please be prepared to discuss how you would like to approach your digital story, ie: individually, in small groups, entire class together. Begin to look through the materials on how to create digital stories provided earlier in the semester in preparation for this discussion, particularly the section “Storytelling Resources.”<\/p>\n

            Thursday, October 31\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

            1) Organize the photos\/visit that you uploaded into the folders: 1) Rehearsal 2) Performance 3) Location 4) Gabriel Week 5) Determined Exhibit<\/p>\n

            2)Identify who you will interview. Contact and set up interview date and time.<\/p>\n

            3) Begin to create questions for interview that are geared to the specificity of each person (or at least “categories” ie: students, dancers, community members, family members). What specifically do you want to know?<\/p>\n

            4) Read: Chapter 5: The Perfection of Racialized Slavery 1720-1861 (pp.76-100) in Richmond’s Unhealed History<\/em> by Benjamin Campbell.<\/p>\n

            5) Choose one section of the reading that you will share and comment in class. Why are you interested in this particular section? What moved, surprised, or challenge you? How does it expand your understanding of the history of Virginia, Richmond, and\/or Gabriel’s Rebellion? Post the section you will discuss and a brief response as a blog entry in WEEK NINE.<\/p>\n
