She is a 2019 Soros Equality Fellow, a 2019 Monument Lab Fellow, a narrative change architect on the faculty at Initiatives of Change, and serves as the City of Richmond as chair of the mayor\u2019s History and Culture Commission.<\/p>\n<p>Untold RVA is the people\u2019s choice for the creative advancement of Richmond\u2019s most powerful Self Determination narratives, hidden in plain sight throughout our city\u2019s historical urban landscape. Untold RVA was founded in 2013 as the winner of a democratically elected local startup competition. Since then,\u00a0Free\u00a0collaborates with the academia, public media, public art and community design sectors to introduce these Self Determination narratives into the historical record. As an influencer,\u00a0Free\u00a0points out how the accomplishments of Richmond\u2019s ancestral freedom fighters have been deliberately submerged for generations through biased preservation methods.
