Who we are

Zahra Ehtesham
I haven’t written an “about me” since MySpace but I’ll do my best…
I’m a junior majoring in biology on the pre-health track with a minor in history. I’m from Wise, Virginia (pretty much Kentucky; I’m 15 minutes from the border). I’m part of Relay for Life and Camp Kesem. I want to become a psychiatrist; I have since I was four.

Rebecca Nguyen

I am a junior majoring in psychology with a concentration in neuroscience with minors in biology and health care studies. I love learning about perception and identity, I could talk about these things forever as well as nature versus nurture.  On campus I am a part of Delta Gamma women’s fraternity, the Bonner Scholars, and the Bollywood dance club. Before I decide what I want to do I have to figure out I am more interested in mental or physical health because both areas are so fascinating.

Kyle Lee

I am a junior from Eastern Mass and am an avid Boston sports fan. I am currently majoring in cognitive science with minors in computer science and math. My interests include decision making, human-computer interaction, and artificial intelligence. Here on campus, I am a member of Theta Chi Fraternity and Best Buddies.

Brittany Woodruff

I am a senior majoring in biology with a minor in psychology on a pre-med track. I will be graduating in December and plan on taking a year and a half off before going to med school to work in a lab and gain research experience. I love working with kids and I eventually want to become a pediatrician. I’ve moved a lot so I don’t really have a “home town”, but some of the places I’ve lived in the past few years include Avon New York, Evansville Indiana, Falmouth Mass (Cape Cod), Guilford Connecticut, and Albuquerque New Mexico. On campus I am a part of Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity.

Jade Gregory

I am a senior majoring in Healthcare and Society with a minor in Anthropology. I am from Norfolk, VA and I am a member of the university Track and Field team as well. I plan to go on to graduate school in public health with a concentration in health disparities. I would like to take a couple years off before grad school just to gain more experience in my field. I would like to work in research looking at health disparities around various diseases and look for ways to solve these issues.
