The recipe uses one or more techniques that we have not done in lab thus far.<\/li>\n<li>Moderate: Recipe has multiple components (i.e. you have to make more than one thing) OR the recipe has one component uses techniques that you have not done in lab thus far.<\/li>\n<li>Basic: Recipe has one component and uses techniques we already done in lab.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Provide the ingredients and directions for the recipe you will follow.\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Include references &#8211; see below.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Define characteristic high quality outcomes<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0in the three areas below and\u00a0<strong style=\"font-weight: bold;\">provide at least two images<\/strong>\u00a0(<strong style=\"font-weight: bold;\">with references<\/strong>) from separate sources depicting a successful outcome of the recipe.\u00a0<strong style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Cite your sources<\/strong>\u00a0on how you came up with your characteristic outcomes. Either way, what standard are you measuring yourself against.\n<ul style=\"padding: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 0px 25px;\">\n<li>Color<\/li>\n<li>Texture<\/li>\n<li>Flavor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"margin: 12px 0px;\"><em style=\"font-style: italic;\">For Example, if this were lemon meringue pie\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n<ol style=\"padding: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 6px 25px;\">\n<li>Color\n<ol style=\"padding: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 0px 25px;\">\n<li>lightly browned meringue topping that is opaque, white and fluffy,<\/li>\n<li>opaque yellow custard<\/li>\n<li>lightly browned crust<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Texture\n<ol style=\"padding: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 0px 25px;\">\n<li>Meringue is tall and airy, homogenous texture, little to no \u201cweeping\u201d (dripping of liquid\u201d), the meringue is swirled and the tips\/edges are lightly browned. The meringue has a slightly firm, spongy texture.<\/li>\n<li>Custard is thick, not runny, but not pasty. It is smooth and homogenous throughout.<\/li>\n<li>firm, slightly crunchy, but easily breakable crust &#8211; thin, but not too thin<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Flavor\n<ol style=\"padding: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 0px 25px;\">\n<li>Meringue is slightly sweet and dissolves on the tongue<\/li>\n<li>Custard is creamy, tangy and sweet &#8211;
