{"id":474,"date":"2013-05-22T09:00:23","date_gmt":"2013-05-22T14:00:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/?p=474"},"modified":"2013-05-24T13:02:36","modified_gmt":"2013-05-24T18:02:36","slug":"atomic-learning-building-block-now-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/2013\/05\/22\/atomic-learning-building-block-now-available\/","title":{"rendered":"Atomic Learning Building Block Now Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you are not familiar with Atomic Learning, it is the online video training services provider for the University of Richmond.\u00a0 There are hundreds of applications in their inventory, often spanning multiple versions of the application and for both Windows and Mac users.\u00a0 Applications include but are not limited to Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, etc.), Blackboard, iPod Touch, and Windows and Mac OS.\u00a0 Tutorials are broken up into short (1-4 minute long) video tutorials that you can watch using Flash or QuickTime formats. Users can pause, rewind, or navigate easily between video clips.\u00a0 You can access the system outside of Blackboard by going to <a title=\"Atomic Learning Access\" href=\"http:\/\/is.richmond.edu\/training\/tutorials.html\">http:\/\/is.richmond.edu\/training\/tutorials.html<\/a>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Now you are able to access the same content within Blackboard! The first way to access the training is by clicking on the Atomic Learning Link in the &#8220;Tools&#8221; module under &#8220;My Blackboard&#8221;:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2013\/03\/My-Blackboard.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-475\" title=\"My Blackboard\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2013\/03\/My-Blackboard.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"405\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2013\/03\/My-Blackboard.png 405w, https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2013\/03\/My-Blackboard-300x266.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 405px) 100vw, 405px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The second way is through professors selecting certain tutorials to be viewed within a course.
