The best way to solve the problem is the following:<br \/>\n(1) go to the Discussion Board in the course<br \/>\n(2) select any forum<br \/>\n(3) In the tannish area, mouse over the button for <strong>Display<\/strong> and select <strong>Show All<\/strong> (you should now see all the posts).<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2011\/09\/db_pic2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-184\" title=\"db_pic2\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2011\/09\/db_pic2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"495\" height=\"259\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2011\/09\/db_pic2.png 495w, https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2011\/09\/db_pic2-300x156.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 495px) 100vw, 495px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAnother workaround is to go to the Discussion Board page, itself, and notice that that there is a column of unread posts in each forum and each number actually contains hyperlinks that will take you directly to the posts &#8211; and that link will show the posts regardless of what display setting was selected previously.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2011\/09\/db_pic1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-185\" title=\"db_pic1\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2011\/09\/db_pic1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"501\" height=\"304\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2011\/09\/db_pic1.png 501w, https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2011\/09\/db_pic1-300x182.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 501px) 100vw, 501px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you do not see discussion board posts while others can, you may have inadvertently flipped your settings to hide them.
