After you request your course, you might want to copy a previous course into the new course. When a course is copied, the navigation buttons (those on the left side of the screen) are placed at the bottom of those created from the course template. You may not want the buttons created by the course template and want to delete these. STOP! First, you will need to change the course entry point for the course. This is located in the Course Management area under the Control Panel and then Customization.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2011\/07\/CustmizationMenu.png\"><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2011\/07\/CustmizationMenu.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-144 alignnone\" title=\"CustmizationMenu\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2011\/07\/CustmizationMenu.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"309\" height=\"838\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Once you expand the customization menu, click on &#8220;Style&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>On the style page, change option 4 to the entry point you desire for the course.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2011\/07\/EntryPoint.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-145 alignnone\" title=\"EntryPoint\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2011\/07\/EntryPoint.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"538\" height=\"659\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2011\/07\/EntryPoint.png 538w, https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/blackboard\/files\/2011\/07\/EntryPoint-244x300.png 244w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 538px) 100vw, 538px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is important because if you simply start deleting the navigation buttons you will eventually get to a web link which will not allow you to access other content in your course.
