Student work has contributed to an <a href=\"https:\/\/dsl.richmond.edu\/eastend\/#loc=17\/37.53668110395066\/-77.38787305075677\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online map<\/a> as well as a <a href=\"https:\/\/search.eastendcemeteryrva.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">searchable archive<\/a> and collection of <a href=\"https:\/\/eastendcemeteryrva.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">biographical narratives<\/a> for East End Cemetery. Thanks to a Digital Pedagogy Grant in 2022, students have also begun 3D-scanning grave monuments with an iPad Pro and have started at <a href=\"https:\/\/sketchfab.com\/urarchaeology\/collections\/east-end-cemetery-fb825579f0594ee4a1bb544058d7ab0f\">East End Cemetery Collection on Sketchfab<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-559 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/archaeology\/files\/2025\/03\/DSC00791-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/archaeology\/files\/2025\/03\/DSC00791-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/archaeology\/files\/2025\/03\/DSC00791-1024x684.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/archaeology\/files\/2025\/03\/DSC00791-768x513.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/archaeology\/files\/2025\/03\/DSC00791-1536x1026.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/archaeology\/files\/2025\/03\/DSC00791-2048x1368.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/archaeology\/files\/2025\/03\/DSC00791-272x182.jpg 272w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In Fall 2024, Classics 220 students assisted with headstone recovery and biographical research at neighboring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.richmondcemeteries.org\/evergreen\/\">Evergreen Cemetery<\/a> and contributed research to the <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.cemeterycollaboratory.org\/\">Cemetery Collaboratory Archive<\/a>.
