On Thursday, March 20, Geoff Emberling (Kelsey Museum of Archaeology, University of Michigan) will present the Archaeological Institute of America’s Martha Sharp Joukowsky Lecture, “Archaeology, its Colonial Past, and its Collaborative Future: A Community Project in El-Kurru, Northern Sudan.” Co-sponsored by the UR Dept. of Classical Studies and the AIA Richmond Society, the lecture will be free and open to the public in Jepson Hall 118, preceded by a light reception
