Discussion:
This bottle was likely made by Salem Glass Works (Salem, New Jersey) for Lea & Perrins. The letters “JDS” on their bases refer to the American distributor of the sauce, John Duncan and Sons. The bottle would have been originally sealed with a glass and cork stopper. Click here to see a glass stopper in our collection.
