The Concentration

Interested in concentrating in accounting? You can earn a B.S.B.A degree (through the Robins School of Business) with a concentration in accounting by completing four upper-level accounting courses, in addition to the courses and requirements common to all business majors. Accounting concentrators must also complete a second concentration in the business school (e.g., finance, business analytics, international business).

The four upper-level accounting courses must include:

• ACCT-301 Intermediate Financial Accounting 1 (required)
• ACCT-302 Intermediate Financial Accounting 2 (required)
• Two courses additional, chosen from:
  • ACCT-305 Cost and Managerial Accounting
  • ACCT-307 Accounting Information Systems
  • ACCT-312 Federal Tax 1
  • ACCT-313  Federal Tax 2
  • ACCT-359 ST: Cybersecurity for Accountants
  • ACCT-359 ST: Forensic Accounting
  • ACCT-417 Auditing
  • ACCT-431 Advanced Financial Accounting
