Story History and Performance Plan

In order to tell the story that you have selected  WELL, you need to prepare a plan for how you will tell it.

WRITE a 2-4 page essay that lays out your plan.  Consider including:

  1. what version of your story are you telling and why?  (who collected it? who translated it, etc.)
  2. what interesting things about your story have you uncovered in your research?  be sure to cite sources and use Chicago annotation style).
  3. what do you think is FUN and/or SIGNIFICANT about your story? Which parts will you emphasize? Any particular words or phrases?
  4. How will you engage your audience?

Turn this plan in at the beginning of class on Oct. 26.
