Students in the SSIR programs participated in several activities that helped them explore their career, life and academic interests and passions, assess their personality and skills through the Strong Interest Inventory and had fun getting to know their peers and the faculty member better. Staff members from the CDC led the retreat.

Check out some pictures from Destinations 2012:

RA applications are now available for our Sophomore Scholars in Residence (SSIR), Living Learning Communities (LLC) and Special Interest (SI) programs for the 2010 – 2011 academic year. Being the RA for one of these communities, is a great way to get involved in living learning communities next year, be a role model to those participating in the program, work with faculty and staff, become a student leader within Richmond and Westhampton Colleges, and help shape the direction of these communities at Richmond.

Download the RA application here. More information about each of the programs is available at Living Learning Programs.

The applications are due to Office of Living Learning Programs, Richmond Hall 113, by 5:00 p.m. on November 20, 2009.

Another frequently asked question we have been getting:

Q: I am a WC student and want to apply to be the RA and be employed by RC (or vice versa). Is that possible?
A: Yes! All of our communities can have either a male or female RA, no matter which college employs them.
