The Beatles’ unique adventure in sound, songwriting, studio technology and even cover art had an immediate impact when the album, which went on to become the biggest-selling United Kingdom record of all time, was launched on 1 June 1967. The effects of the album clearly were shown with multiple performers and artists reacting differently to hearing it. And why were they able to find such great success in a unique way that was never attempted or experienced before?
