 Delta Delta Delta Spider

Eco-Spider Challenge Essay

This eco-spider is made out of aluminum cans, glass, paper and metal.  His boy and head are constructed out of metal rings covered with newspaper to make the round shape.  The inside of both circles are stuffed with newspaper to give him volume.  The body and head of the spider is covered with aluminum cans that have been cut and flattened.  The legs are also made out of aluminum cans but they have been kept in their original shape. There are also flattened aluminum cans on the legs to give them character.  The eyes made out of two coke bottoms and are covered with glass.  This spider was made in hopes to promote a better environment not just for the campus but in all places nation wide.  The spider is made mostly of paper and aluminum cans because they are two of the most prominent recycled materials found on campus.  Many students on campus do not properly dispose of these items, which can be easily put in proper containers.
