Thanks to the hard work of so many students in the Downey group, Wade was promoted to full professor in February 2017. A big thanks to all of you who generated the research results that pushed him over the top! He will now hold summer group meetings in an ermine robe whilst drinking a fine claret, and must be addressed as “Your Eminence.”
