English Language Fellow Program

U.S. State Department-funded English Language Fellow Program

The English Language Fellow assignments offer a wonderful professional development opportunity for TESOL professionals to live and work overseas for a significant time period on a substantive project.

Visit Teach for America classrooms

Interested in the Teach for America program? Join the Career Development Center Friday, Nov. 13 for a road trip to visit two current Teach for America teachers in their classrooms in Washington, D.C. You’ll get a first-hand look at the Teach for America experience. The bus will leave campus at 7:30 a.m. and return at 5 p.m.

St. Paul’s School Advanced Studies Program

If you are interested in teaching high school, but want to try it out before you commit, a summer at St. Paul’s School ASP is a great option. You don’t have to be an education minor or even have taught before. This is a five week program for advanced students in New Hampshire. You must have at least finished your junior year in college. You will be a teaching assistant, working alongside a master teacher with a class of 12-15 students. You will receive room, board and a stipend.

This is a great podcast to listen to if you want to learn more about what TFA is all about and how to prepare your application to become a Corps member well!
