WHITE HOUSE INTERNSHIP-Deadline March 22, 2009
President Obama recently launched the White House Internship Program for his administration and applications are currently being accepted for the Summer 2009. The Summer Internship program will run from May 22-August 14, 2009.
U.S. Citizens over the age of 18 who are recent graduates (within 2 years) or currently enrolled in a 2-4 undergraduate institution are eligible.
Interns will be placed in a departmental office for the internship. More information on the White House Internship Program, including application instructions, can be found at: www.whitehouse.gov/about/internships.
University of Richmond students are invited to attend the 18th Annual National Capital Region Job Fair Tuesday, March 10 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Northern Virginia Center in Falls Church, VA located at 7054 Haycock Road across from the West Falls Church metro.
More than 50 professional and high tech companies from Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. will be recruiting for all levels and disciplines. No cost to attend and all job seekers are welcome! Come early to the “How to Make the Most of a Job Fair” session at 2 p.m. and learn how to work the room, what to say to employers and what they’ll expect to hear from you. This event is sponsored by the Virginia Tech Alumni Association.
