The timed-test issue, which caused the timer to hide the Submit button while taking a test in IE 8, has been fixed! Feel free to use IE 8 while taking a timed test in Blackboard.

How did you fix the Timed-Test issue? We are still telling our students to choose Compatibility View. Any guidance would be appreciated!

We fixed the timed-test issue by swapping out the file specified in one of the Behind the Blackboard KB articles. To find it, go to the KB and search for “slow scrolling in timed tests.”
