Mr. Kirkby’s podcast about life as a CPA in the modern accounting world is entertaining and extremely well executed. His pace and tone are very natural and pleasant to listen to; I felt like he was talking specifically to me. I was blown away by the variety of images he used and how seamlessly they corresponded to his words. It is clear that he put forth a lot of effort coming up with that many pictures as well as making an entertaining script. I really enjoyed the topic choice because I think many people have a misconception of accounting as mind-numbing number crunching. Mr. Kirkby does an excellent job of dispelling this common belief. Above all, his podcast was highly appropriate for his audience, junior and senior Accounting majors at Richmond. He speaks as he would normally speak to his peers. I honestly cannot think of any way in which I would improve this podcast. Great job, Mr. Kirkby.

Mr. Kirkby does an excellent job presenting his podcast on why people should consider public accounting as a career choice. Mr. Kirkby goes into great detail about the benefits and opportunities of working in public accounting, and he makes sure to mention how important accountants are in the financial world. Mr. Kirkby also used a large variety of of pictures to accompany his podcast. Although some of the pictures were fuzzy, they were a great addition to the podcast and it is evident that it took him a lot of time to include all of them. The only thing that I would change is some of the word choice at certain points in the podcast. Although they can be entertaining, I think it would have been more professional to stay away from inappropriate phrases.
